Devin Card Photography

Working on this talented photographer’s website was a dream. He wanted the stylings of the website to reflect his professionalism while feeling classy and simple. What we delivered combines intriguing typography and elegant lines with his creative imagery.

The site features slideshows to highlight his wedding photography business, as well as to highlight his other portfolio work. All pages on his website adhere to W3C standards.

KB Design

Award-winning Keith Baker Design specializes in the design of fine custom residential homes, additions and renovations. KB Design came to us to give their website an overhaul. They wanted a standards compliant website that would reduce maintenance costs and a system that would allow them to easily update and maintain their website themselves. Our solution - a custom, standards compliant content management system (CMS) suited exactly to their needs.

Our CMS allows KB Design to easily update any page on their website, and create galleries of photos that highlight their award winning work. We love simple solutions and what we delivered was elegant, search-engine friendly, easy to use and most importantly easy to learn. Within 20 minutes they were uploading photos and updating their website themselves.

TMCYouth.com

A year after the initial launch of tmcyouth.com the site had grown exponentially and we put our heads down to come up with a redesign to embrace a larger audiencee. The site is now based upon the Yahoo User Interface Libraries and combines forums, videos, blogs, podcasts and other social media in an innovative fashion. Additionally we added support for advertising, and gave the site a search engine friendly codebase.

Daycroft School Foundation

This U.S. based educational foundation came to us for a complete rebranding of their website and logo. Our website design is made to appeal to a diverse group of prospective users including students, teachers, alumni, and parents. Friendly faces and clean lines define every page, making the site both easy to look at and to navigagte. The logo design tied strongly to their previous branding but incorporated a more vibrant and youthful feel.

CS Monitor

When the Pulitzer Prize winning daily newspaper The CS Monitor asked us to build them a custom publishing platform based upon Wordpress (a popular blogging platform) we jumped on it!

The system we built allows their journalists to securely and easily write articles (targeted on book reviews) and publish their content. The system automatically feeds their existing publishing platform through RSS and a combination of other technologies. This was done to streamline their existing processes and make it easier for journalists to write while in the field.

The entire project integrated their existing branding with the Wordpress environment to provide their non-staff writers with a CS Monitor branded interface. We utilized the Blueprint CSS Grid environment to provide their in-house developers with a solid user-interface foundation to build on top of. It includes sensible typography, and even print styles.

Rebecca Wellman’s site features a classy elegant style that is designed to showcase her unique style of artistry and photography. A series of flash based image galleries are built into the site, along with a beautiful photo management system. Additionally we added a client login system that allows her to show her photography to her clients. As always the site adheres to W3C web standards, and best practices.

Christian Science Committee on Publication

Produced for the Canadian Christian Science Committee on Publication this is our first bilingual website. The design utilizes photography taken across Canada and embraces each photo in a full panorama. Behind the design we’ve integrated the open–source Wordpress blogging system which is featured on their news page. This technology will allow them to easily post news and upcoming events.

Underwater Hockey Victoria

Simple Station has sponsored a web site for the Victoria Underwater Hockey club. This site was built upon the foundation of the Wordpress Blogging System, and features a simple interface. It was a big splash upon its launch, which coincided with the Pacific Coast Championships. A photo gallery was also integrated into the site. Members of the club can easily update the site.

Kelowna Gospel Fellowship

Using open source technology the Kelowna Gospel Fellowship web site allows their staff to easily control and edit the content and photo galleries on their website. Graphically, the site features a fresh look with clean lines, and a theme that varies from page to page. This site showcases our ability to apply open source technology to maximize savings for our clients.

Zigloo Residential Design

Zigloo Residential design is dedicated to promoting unique residential design concepts. The site features concept work done by local Environmental Designer Keith Dewey and custom content management system we built.

Keith brought his own ideas into the project and we worked with him to make his vision a reality. The result combines our clean look with his personality and unique sense of style.
